Mark is a musician, recording engineer and acoustician with many years experience both in the performing and technical side of music. He has a PhD from Edinburgh university in musical acoustics and has worked in many of the major venues and around the Edinburgh area.

As a musician Mark plays regularly in a selection of band in both the folk and jazz/funk scenes. The links below take you to some of the web sites of the bands he plays in.

Mark also teaches private music lessons in guitar and cittern, runs the Edinburgh recording studio The Sonic Lodge and builds and repairs guitars.
